Nicaragua-Cost Rica border at Los Chiles?
Has anyone taken a bike across the Los Chiles border into Costa Rica? I guess it would involve putting the bike on a boat from San Carlos.
I hear also that buying the Costa Rican insurance may not be possible there Any details much appreciated!

I did it the other way around and was able to cancel my temporarily import papers from Costa Rica in Los Chiles, so assume you can get them there as well!
Check out my blog and search for San Carlos within the blog Central America on one or two Wheels Hope it was any help to you!
