Motorcycle Insurance Mexico

Was thinking of buying my bike insurance online before I head into mexico. But the shortest policy always seems to be 6 months. I would just need 3 months. Anyone buy shorter policies when in Mexico or even online?

Talking I have used this place many times

Mexican Auto Insurance Online - MexAdventure.com - Adventure Mexican Insurance

I have used this company several times. You pick how many days you want (depending on the number of days, a longer contract might be cheaper). Be sure to specify "$0" value if you only want liability only). Pay with card and print it out right there. Eazy Peazy

Thanks Rick did look at them and others. What I find is that after 30-35 days you need to go straight to a 6 month policy. Seems no option for 45-90 days. We are not talking serious money when you go liability only anyways so I will go six months and enjoy the country as long as I want.

Have you ever had to place a claim?

I have never needed to place a claim (actually in the 15 or so trips I have taken to Mexico, I have NEVER been asked to see my insurance papers) I do have a friend though that bought thru them and also bought collision (or what ever they call it). He had a wreck and totaled his Harley Road Glide. It took them a LONG time but they actually paid a great price for his wreck. I just buy liability only as I have always been told that the best move if there is a bad wreck is pay up and move along very quickly (BEFORE the cops get involved).
