Need help with tranferring title of US bike in Chile
Hey everyone,
I could really use some help with how to transfer the title of a US bike in Chile from a current US owner. I see so much information about how to do it completely legal, as well as some not so legal but passable. I just want to buy the bike and ride south without having any major border issues. Could someone help me with this specific situation? Thanks in advance, Jeff

bmw gs650 available in chile
I am just on a tour vor 5 months in chile argentine peru and bolivia on a bmw gs 650 (built 2011). I will finish my trip in middle march, 2013 in santiago. I bought the bike on a sort of leasing contract, so the bike run on a chilean number plate with respective insurances, etc. the firm I bought the bike from organised all the paperwork for border crossings, etc.
If you are interested fo buy the bike , you could please contact me by email and then we could skype. So far I had no problems and all ynd a percect travel....
