Join me as I travel from the prairies of Alberta to the penguins of Patagonia. My 6 month motorcycle journey from St. Albert to Ushuaia will cover 30,000km and 16 countries.
This trip of a lifetime was in part inspired by my brother-in-law who suffered a spinal cord injury. The ride is not only an adventure for me but an opportunity to raise awareness about spinal cord injury research.

This ex UK police motorcyclist (doesn't make him a bad person) is continuing in his attempt to avoid maturity. He's been NFA for some time now and is resisting the temptation to settle down and cut the grass on a weekly basis. He is instead seeking to carry on riding whilst health wealth and happiness continues. He holds the HorizonsUnlimited site entirely responsible. Currently doing a lap of India on India's first trailbike - The mighty 150cc Hero Impulse.

With my clock ticking toward 30, I was lying in bed staring at the ceiling when an idea was born: "I'm going to travel the world. On a motorcycle!" I should mention, I didn't own a bike. Actually, I’d never traveled by one. In fact, I didn't even know how to ride. But those were minor details that could easily be fixed.
Five months later I rode off for two years, returning after five and a half. I logged over 111,000 miles, experienced 75 countries, all seven continents, made countless friends and survived a multitude of escapades. In the end, I parked myself in the Guinness Book of World Records.
