XT600E - spokes
Hi all
I'm after a bit of advice...myself and a friend are off to South America in June. We'll be riding on roads for 99% of the time, we're not planning on doing any off-roading. Is it worth fitting heavy-duty spokes to the XT600s or will the standard wheels be OK? Does anyone know how much fitting heavy-duty spokes will cost?? thanks! Matt |

Your spokes will be fine!!your bike has got the standerd steel rims and there built to take lots of abuse...just take a spoke key with you to tighten any that may become loose.

Hi,
If you decide to stick with standard spokes, you should take a couple of spares for front and back, you could get yourself a bargain off ebay if the length is right for your bike (item #7970287064) ---zeb |
