XT600E sidestand spring
Hey guys!
Has any of you replaced the stock sidestand spring from your bikes? I've increased the length of my sidestand in about 4cm and to reinforce I fitted a metal pipe on the inside of the sidestand. Now, due to the stock spring being old and the sidestand being longer and heavier the spring is a bit too soft. A shorter stronger spring would be awesome.... Anyone? Vando

Cant you just grind of the knob that holds the spring on the sidestand itself, and move it a bit down, and weld it on again?
