Xt600e Battery?
Hi there, I've just bought an old XT600E engined bike.Don't know the year as no llog book, been used as field bike, so it's gonna be a challenge!!
 The frame No. is43F-002684 Engine No.XT600E..*8T5 OO9890* Any info as to years of frame and engine greatly appreciated. Wiring loom is there but not connected What battery to use and simple wiring to just get it running would also help! Brilliant web page, just joined and am now beginning to read all the various pages re. XT600's Cheers, Noel.

As for the battery, I would buy a sealed battery that has the same dimensions as you're current one.
You should be able to find one at an autostore shop, or even go to ebay.

Are you sure that's a xt600E ??
Does it have E-start button and e-motor? By the frame number That sounds me like what you have is a 43F model which if I recon correctly, it is prior to the XT600E release! Vando
