xt600e 3tb model suspension

I am riding down to Dakar in Jan 08 using in land RIM route carrying around a total of 50litres of fuel 30 on the rear 25 in fuel tank plus the usual other luggage . Anyone got any ideas about ugrading the suspension or is just jacking the rear spring pre load up good enough.

How heavy are you ?

Many just jack up the preload but I opted for a stiffer rear spring.
