what can I fit to a TT600RE?

Hi in Zambia with 8000km to go untill Cape Town doest look like my chain and sprockets are going to last. I doin't know if the TT600RE was realsed in Souther Africa, if not I should be able to find parts for a XT600 (I hope) can anyone tell me if the front sprocket is the same for the two bikes? The rear I guess I can make anything just about fit by drilling new holes if nessary.

yes it was and no I would be hesitant about drilling new holes. That sounds like a recipe for structural failure of the most hazardous kind and at the very least if you dont get the rear sprocket centred you run a very real risk of the chain snapping or at the very least causing such wear on chain and sprocket you might as well have continued with the old set.
