Newer stance

Do the newer 600's have the same stance as the older ones, my 86 is avery comfortable bike.

By stance, I mean do you sit behind the bars or over them, i have rode XR's and you feel like you are over top of the bike.

You tend to sit more "in" rather than on an XT600E....
