how much for a standard tank ?

Hi People

I’ve just got an Acerbis tank for my TTR600E – 2003 model, should be with me by Tuesday or Wednesday. Will probably get it fitted sometime before the UK HU meet, along with all the other mods I keep saying, I’ll do tomorrow

What would be a fair price for me to sell a good condition standard tank on eBay? Pointless trying for a sale on this site I recon because everybody wants bigger tanks not the silly small 10ltr thing...

Shaun

I've seen them go for about £15 and I have seen them with no bids, both on ebay.
On the other hand, if you can get 2 or more bidders .......
I would keep it, against the day that you sell the bike on: re-fit the standard tank then - in fact put the bike back to standard as much as possible and sell the goodies for what they are worth.

Not really worth selling a standered tank as no one wants them I got one for £10 as a spare.
Paid £160 for a second hand Acerbis tank so now have 2 spare tanks.
As Walkabout says keep it and put it back on the bike when you sell and sell your Acerbis one seperate.
