Engine Bars and Crash Bars for London-Capetown Trip

Hello

I was wondering if someone could tell me if it would be a good idea to fit engine bars and or crash bars on my 1VJ for a trip from London to Capetown? Do such things exist for XTs and if so where would be the place to get them in the UK?

Thanks

AC

Better be safe than sorry for your smashed engine cover.

I found good protectors with http://www.off-the-road.de for my 34L. Strong as hell!

I have a 34L aswell and on the site you listed I can't see any products for the XT600, though they do list TT600. Is there a bash plate/engine protector which is stronger than the stock bash plate available for the 34L from this site

Cheers Doug
