Engine Bars 3AJ?

Do you have angine bars fitted? Can you post a decent pic so I can get Ernie to copy them?

Thanks - I'm planning to fit a 10L plastic jerry to each side.

Got them from a company "five star" via hein Gericke in Germany for 120 euro.

I fitted also 2 10 liter steel tanks to them...
Dont have a pick of that at the moment...

Hey Frank

Can you send/post a pic of how and where these bars are mounted to the frame? I am planning a similar mod (but 2 x 5lt. jerrys) with the cans mounted either side of the engine.

Cheers

barry

Barry - perhaps we can work together to sort this problem? Moto Ward in Surrey have some bars to fit the 3AJ on back order - they may be here in about 3 weeks, depending on how fast Riky Cross process the order.

Thanks for the pic Fuchur - can't wait to see the cans fitted - this will be the same system as I will use, to keep the mass low. The only thing I worry about is crashes:

Crash = sparks + torn jerry can = fuel + hot engine = destroyed Tenere

Thanks guys - Geoff, based on that pic I may get Ernie to fabricate some for me. Really depends on how good the ones on order are. I called Moto Ward after hearing on the site that they had some bars in stock... They told me they didn't have any. A mistake? Anyway, I'll let you know how I get on.
