Crash bars

Does anyone know if you can buy desert bars for a 3AJ. If so, where? I've scoured the net and asked people, but no luck. However on the net I have seen pictures of 3ajs with bars on, and some of them look the same. So my logic is that someone sells them, or everyone who makes their own share some wierd synchronicity.

Help Please

engine crash bars for 3AJ

Hi Dave,

In year 2000 I got Hepco and Becker engine crash bars for my 3AJ from Wunderlich. Wunderlich no longer supply parts fot the XT's but a serach for Hepco & Becker would be worth a try.

I got ones listed for a XT600E and had to bend them a bit to get them to fit under the petrol tank.

Good luck

Mark

just customse any old ones

Hiya, I have an XT600e and got some crash bars fitted to it in La Paz. They guys just used the standard square oval type and they attach on using clamps to the frames“s down tube. They also double as a support for the bottom end of the Acerbis tank.... they have been workin fine so far.

Hi Dave

Riky Cross list a set of 'Rally Plus' guards in there online catalogue. Goto:
http://www.rikycross.it/principale.htm and click on the 'accessori rally' button. The you will find the item listed as COD.110A Yamaha Tenere 600

Hope this helps

Cheers

Jonathan
