Carb problem
I have an XT 600 3AJ
The bike is a bit difficult to start some times. Before I just used to press starter button no throttle or very little throttle and it would start. Now I usually bump start it when I leave my house (I live at the top of a big hill) once i stop the bike usually starts with no throttle but some times it just turns over and will only start if I give it alot of throttle. I am sure this is not right, I am going to take carbs off. Is there any thing I should be looking for? Is there any thing I should be checking with the throttle cabels. Thanks |

Don't take the carb off!
Just adjust the idle mixture screw [read : screw it out a few half turns]. ------------------ Fred, XTZ660, Holland.
