3AJ Fork Upgrade

Hi I am rebuilding my XT and would like to fit a different front end something like the front end on my TTR 46mm Paioli forks and a Brembo caliper.
Have been looking for a CCM or WR set up but so far no luck.
Has any one changed the forks on there XT and did you have any problems?
Thanks

Hi
Does any one have a bottom yolk and steering stem from a 3AJ laying around?
I would like to know the length and diameter of the stem, also the measurement from the outer edge to outer edge of yolk.
Thanks

A KX500 front end will fit without too much fuss - they use the same bearings.

Hi Bolla

Think I met you at Tenere rally. I've got a bottom yoke in the garage, but I'm just about to go away for the week - could measure it when I get back.

Let me know
Regards

Hi Dave it would be great if you could get me the measurments of the Yolk.
I should be able to change the stem ok but if my (WR)yolks are much wider they will not fit inside the 3AJ fairing. I dont have my frame or forks here at the moment but have a set of WR forks.
