2008/2009 xtz660 tenere Restricted

I am after getting a good trade in deal for my klr650 for a new tenere. Due to the fact that even with a full license, in Ireland you have to be restriced for the 1st 2 years on full license. I am trying find out what will the bike be like when restricted and if anyone has one already?

also all the power to weight ratios i can find are for dry weight calculations, anyone have on for a bike fueled up and ready to go?

Regards

John

Hey, i dont think the restriction would matter to muc, You still have a lot og engine, and much torque in the lower rpms. Thats what you need, topsped doesn't matter to much.

If you know the dry weight, just ad ~ 3kgs for the oil, and take the quantity of the the gasoline, and multipli it by 0.65 (1 ltr of gaz weigh around 0.65kg) And add a couple og liters of cooling water.

That should be just about it, I think

think works out at 208 kg wet weight. was searching last night and found it on net.

ya was thinking 10bhp on more of a torque bit may not have huge effect on the over all performance
