Need an opinion
I am planning a two up NA/SA ride, I have a very comfy 2002 BMW K1200LT. How do you think it would fare in South America? Trade to a GS or hang in there?
Cheers!

I think that a carefully inspection on road maps will bring you to the south all in good roads. but a GS would give you more options. Buen viaje KH ------------------ http://viento-de-ripio.blogspot.com/

Thanks, I know what you mean, the K is a dream on fast pavement but it's one heavy pig on anything less...It would probably exclude me from seeing the best bits away from tourist traps. Hmmm. Big change.
Cheers, Stu.
