Can you recommend a cheap in-between bike?
I'm after a cheap in-between bike for a few months, as currently I'm on a push bike. I need a motorbike to go & look at potential trip bikes, if that makes sense.
Any recommendations on a cheap run around that would hold it's price? I know it's probably down to buying well in the first place, but it's always good to hear what other people think and recommend. Size & style wise I'm not that fussed, but am tempted to try a small trials bike, 350cc plus. Iain. |

Patrick,
Thanks for the sound advice, I'll go for a 125-200cc as I cycle to work and the bikes simply to shop on. I'm in the UK and am looking as Yamaha XT's, Suzuki DR750 DR650 the 750 for the big tank, KLR650 or if I could find a good one, the old school BMW R80GS or BMW Kalahari although I know the chances of finding one of these in trip condition is almost zero. Much appreciated. Iain. |
