bike prices in OZ
Can anyone advise on bike prices in australia compared to the UK? new and used
eg something like a fireblade would cost £8000 ish. A year old model is quite a lot cheaper even if it hasn't left the showroom eg £6500. are ozzy bike cheaper as it's closer to japan? I don't want any other make other than Jap as there not as reliable and cost too much for what they are (BMW).

Sometimes they are cheaper, depends on the xchange rate.
look at www.bikepoint.com.au and www.tradingpost.com.au you will get a good idea of the asking prices. People keep things longer here so stuff that is unwanted in the UK is still getting good prices. Mid nineties zxr750 is about 6000AUD ..thats about five pounds isnt it!
