Africa Twin 1999 for £1500 -any good ?

It keeps nagging at me ! It's been stolen/recovered with many parts stolen using a crowbar(smart villains in UK)causing alot of superficial damage...but its basically sound (original tyres)& I could add ubiquitous enduro plastic & clocks very cheaply , making a GIANT RATBIKE ..I've been told they're expensive to run - but there's no HONDA plastic left on it to break! And it would carry TOUT.And the motor is like new.
Should I buy it ??

I think for that money you should buy it. That is, if you don't want to make it look like new again. In which case you'll spend a fortune on Honda parts. If you run it as a rat bike then maybe there's less chance of it being stolen again.
