Hi to all from Finland!

I have lurked for a while this forum and now is time to introduce myself.
I had been driven with different kind of bikes since '87 and now I'm heading back to small bikes... From this site I got part of that last "kick" to do so, not quit.
Other reason for that down sizing is doctors interview, where she told me about my future.. Maybe my path of as a biker start to be end on near future and this way with a small bike, I could still continue for a while... I don't want to give up, not yet.
Now I'm retired in early age (42), so I have a lot of time to do still something... I don't want to just stay on couch and dreaming. Now I have to do it, or never.

Next summer, I will do some short test trips with this my small 125 cc bike and maybe later, longer trips to somewhere further.

Thanks to you guys and your travel stories, I got a more strength to continue as a biker!

Here is a link to my blog, where is some pictures and stories (sorry, it is on my own language) of my short trips:

from what you'll read here, you'll have as much (if not more ) fun on small bikes! Good luck on your future planning; you're in the right place!

to HUBB. Your not the only rider who are enjoying smaller bikes. Sometimes smaller bike like scooters are more fun and riding is not all about speed but also seeing and smelling the flowers along the road...

Thank you guys!

You are right, small bikes are fun to drive.
Sometimes I take my wife's 50cc scooter and drive around with it.
It is true, with small bike / scooter, you have more time to sense surroundings!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
