Hello from the east coast of Canada

Hello everyone, just discovered this site and I'm happy I did so. I have been reading motorcycle adventure books for a couple of years now ( Glen Heggstad, ted Simon, Emillo Scott, etc) and I am hooked! Purchasing a new bike later on this week, and I have myself convinced that I have to do a central/ South America tour. Its kind of one of those now or never situations. Currently working in Alberta making really good money, and as of August I no longer have an apartment (or home technically lol) and not many material possesions. Perfect time to go on a tour I think, so going to quit my job out here in this industrialized wasteland that is northern Alberta at the end of november and try and leave Canada first week of December. Kudos for this amazing site, I have been absorbing everything like a sponge lol. Anyways thought I would write a little about myself and my plan and say hi to all the adventure travelers out there.

Yea that's for sure, not a decision to be taken lightly. No sense in being afraid of it or else no one would ever do it . I'm at a crossroads in life, one way leads to financial security and doing responsible stuff like buying a house, having a dog and cat, cars bills, etc. While the other way leads to who knows what. That's the beauty of it I think. I think i'll take the adventure of a lifetime thank you very much lol.
