Welcome to the new HUBB!
Welcome to the new HUBB and the new look for the Horizons Unlimited site. This is the first major upgrade to the bulletin board since 2000, and we hope it has been worth the wait! Much more is coming as we replace the underlying site infrastructure so stay tuned...
If you were already registered in the old board, you're still registered in the new HUBB under your existing User ID. I know a few of you wanted to change your user id, well now you can! Well, I can! Just send me (Grant Johnson) a PM and I can change it. You can now add a profile picture of yourself, and have an avatar. You can upload images to your posts (max. 200KB). You can look at New Posts in last x days - or 15 minutes, or 8 hours - or whatever you like!  Custom avatars are only available to Moderators, Contributing Members and Gold Members. As before, if you're not registered, you can read posts but you can't post a message until you do register. Registering is simple, just requires a valid e-mail address as the system does send an e-mail which you need to respond to in order to complete registration. Additional Features
The new system has quite a few additional features which we will be turning on in the coming months, including more space for uploaded pictures, polls, private messages and an events calendar. Some of these will be reserved for members only. Over the next few days those individuals who have contributed to Horizons in the past will see their status updated to reflect that contribution.
We hope many of you who aren't already Members will want to join and take advantage of some of the new features. Here's 3 ways to do it.
