new BB topic idea
hi grant, hi susan, hi all,
getting parts for the bike send out is expensive, takes time and of course the hassle with the customs. I am since three years on the road and get most of my parts from Germany - of course not tyres ! My idea is, that people flying into a place could take parts (maybe even earn a buck or two on it) so it would just cost the sending eg in Europe. I know everyone has his own stuff to carry onto a flight and of course has his weight limit. For example. I would need a new spring for my rear shock from Germany to Quito Ecuador or to Bogota Colombia. It is in Germany ready to get send over, but as I am on a low budget (otherwise I wouldn´t be on the road for three years) and I don´t want to pay for customs and Express mail, it would be nice to have someone take it from Europe to here. What do you guys think about the idea. Greetings from Lima Peru MIKA ------------------ |
