Low Graphics HUBB?
Right now I am enjoying surfing the HU website and the HUBB with a great high-speed internet connection.
However, I can say that most of our trip so far in E. Europe, Central Asia and India/Pakistan has had internet cafes with very, very slow connections. Going through the HUBB can take an eternity. And the slowest internet cafes seem to have the most expensive rates! Are there any plans on the new website upgrade to add a "low or no graphics" feature or a "text only" version of the HUBB for those on the road or elsewhere with slow connections? Not the entire website, but just the HUBB. The BBC website has the best example of this, a "text only" version of the news. ------------------ Dave www.mototrekker.com

We are plalnning on having a choice of styles - I'll try to add that option to the list, but for a number of reasons it may not be possible, not least advertisers (that pay the bills) banners MUST show.
However, in Internet Explorer, you can always go to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced / Multimedia/Show Pictures and untick it. ![]() In Firefox, Tools / Options / Web Features / Load Pictures and again untick it. Also note that we do try hard to keep the HUBB and the entire website as low bandwidth as possible for just that reason - we are very aware of the connections our users can be on! hope that helps! ------------------ Grant Johnson Seek, and ye shall find. ------------------------ One world, Two wheels. www.HorizonsUnlimited.com

very soon - working on it in another window right now. Couple weeks at most, if all goes well. Integrating with other content is the tricky but essential part.
