2 wheels 1 road but who needs the road?

The road is my country
The bike my home
This world is mine
And mine alone

A puncture in paradise is still just a puncture!

Ride safe,

Philosophers quotes

I think I'll let the philosophers do the talking:

Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom.Soren Kierkegaard

The greatest danger is not to take the risk.Soren Kierkegaard

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.Soren Kierkegaard

To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. Not to dare is to lose oneself.Soren Kierkegaard

Attention to health is the greatest hindrance to life

Mine are:

"Fragile Planet" - see it while you can!

See this Earth, you wont see another
or
See this planet, you wont see another

"planet" is a VERY over-used word these days...

hi my two cents

Hi, just got back from a 2700km ride to the pyrennees, and plenty of inspiration.

If it leads into the distance, ride it.

Going there and back to see how far it is.

All I need is sunshine and roads.

What's in front is the present, what's behind is the past, what's ahead is the future.

She has definitely been faithful.

It's a privelege to adventure.

It's beautiful from up here.....

Details on the poll page:

Random voter was Seppo Olkkola, Finland

We even got a few more submissions that will be in the next slogan poll! We'll get the slogan available on CafePress asap, and the 2009 t-shirts will be available at most HU Travellers Meetings this year, and online in the HU store in July. I'll try to sort pre-orders asap.

Thanks for all your submissions, and votes too! You lot continue to amaze me with your ideas, creativity and passion for travel and life.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
