Shipping from Panama to Quito
Grant:
At the end of the FAQ, you give a quote of $800 for shipping a motorcycle by air from Miami to Columbia. That may fit Adams plans best, but if other travellers like Ryan and Dan (USA) are driving into Panama City I would suggest shipping to Quito, Ecuador. In August 1998 we flew three bikes with Girage Cargo (aka 3 Way Cargo) from Panama City to Quito for about $350 per machine. Suprisingly, our travel agent at the Panama City American Express office had helped coordinate shipping for Gary Kout and the 'moonriders' as they rode to raise funds for Save the Children and the American Cancer Society. In the last few weeks, Jason Sturgis and his buddies shipped their three motorcycles from Panama City to Quito for a similar charge.
