Ferries in and out of Egypt

Fellow Riders

I wonder if somebody can help me with ship itinerates going to Egypt from Jordan and from High Dam to Wadi Halfa.
From what I manage to find from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism is that there is a daily ship leaving from Aqaba to Nuweiba and a ship from High Dam to Wadi Halfa every Saturday.
Can somebody confirm this information?
Thank you.

Mike.

I was there about 6 months ago. I took the Aquba crossing. There is a fast ferry and a slow ferry, both make 1 crossing per day. I was told that it is meant to leave at 10:30-11am....it left at 11:30pm. The delays I suffered was mainly due to people returning from their pilgrimage to Mecca.

The crossings are pretty painless and there was always someone on hand to point me in the right direction. Just make sure you allow lots of time as crossing into Egypt is every bit as time consuming and entertaining as you will no doubt have read.
