USA Roadside Assistance
Hello All
Just in Los Angles waiting for my motor bike to arrive from Australia Got insurance with Progressive [good advice from this site] But for roadside assist have tried BMW and also AAA but no good. Anybody got any suggestions It will be much appreciated Thanks Michael |

My Progressive policy includes roadside assistance. I believe it was optional, but ridiculously cheap. Don't know whether that's available to non-USA residents.
AAA gives roadside assistance to motorbikes if you pay extra for recreational vehicle coverage. Far more expensive, but maybe an option if they'll cover you. Their representatives are often clueless, so getting reliable information can be a puzzle. It might be that you need to be a member of your local auto club in Australia to qualify for benefits here. I will try progressive, when i got their insurance I had not tried bmw nor aaa I might even try aaa again, the rep there said i would need to be a car member for one year before i could apply for motorcycle assist did not make sense so i might try again cheers michael |
