UK Visa Agencies that can handle mailed passports?

Heya all,

I'm looking for recommendations for visa agencies located in the UK that can help get my Pakistan and China visas at "home" while I'm on the road. Has anyone done this and have an agency they've liked?

I have two passports, and my British passport remains with a friend as I travel on the American passport, so dropping off the passport and paperwork is easy, but posting back may be a problem as I'll be in India.

Thanks!

- Heather

some countries don't allow the postal companies and couriers like DHL to send passports. I couldn't send it by DHL from Iran to UK but did manage to send my 2nd british passport from Kyrgyzstan to UK.

Back in 2012 I used CHINESE VISA DIRECT LTD

I can share experience about getting passports into India.

It is not allowed, and so our package was intercepted by Delhi Airport Customs. (even though it did not say the package contained passports)
DHL did not know what to do, and just waited.

In the mean time we looked up the Delhi Airports Customs website. There was a list of names and telephone numbers, without their job titles. We started calling around, and after a few phone calls we ended up with the guy, who was aware of our DHL package containing passports.

What followed was a communication "system" in which we e-mailed to them, and I had to call again to hear his answer. He wanted it on e-mail but did not reply for some reason. Anyway it worked.
First we explained we want to go back home through Pakistan overland with car, and visa needed to be obtained in home country.
Then they said, ok we understand, but how do you stay in India without passport. This is illegal and we cannot confirm if you are the true holder of the passport.
Then I explained we have two passports per person, and were carrying one with an Indian visa, all legal. That sort of blew there mind, but we provided scans of all passports, also indicating that info was matching, and pointed out citizen number being equal.
Then they were okay with it, and let the package go. From there it continued through DHL like normal again. Quite some delay, like 1.5 week or something.

This was in 2012 and provides no guarantee at all that this will work for you.

Best alternative is to have someone take the passports with them on flight, if you can arrange that.

Thanks for the heads up. I knew it was problematic to mail out of India but I didn't know it was the same for going back in.

I'll try to find someone flying in... or maybe try to get it to Nepal. Still just need a visa agency to agree to help!
