Register US Bike in Andorra?

Hi, I currently live in the US and have an R1200GSA here. I may be moving to Moscow soon, and if I do, I would like to bring my bike to Western Europe and leave it there so that I can ride it on vacations, long weekends, etc.

The problem is that I will not be able to renew my US registration if the bike is in Europe for an extended period. The easiest solution I have found so far would be to register the bike in Andorra under a "tourist registration", which apparently does not require (in fact prohibits) residence in Andorra, and which can be renewed indefinitely. Sounds pretty expensive (7% duty) and a bit of a hassle, but easier than other options.

Has anyone done this? If so, how has it worked? Any recommendations on companies to assist in the process (I've contacted a few from the internet, but no response...)?

Thanks.
