Without the boat: from Sudan to Egypt.
Dear Overlanders,
Heard stories that the cargo/military road from Wadi Halfa to Aswan is now open for tourists, if you pay, of course. Does anybody has information on this?? Or anybody planning to do this?? Greetings, Jacob

Hey Jacob,
If you use the search option you will find some threads about the road, it isn't open yet. There is also no date in the near future that it will be open for tourists. Cheers

Thanx for the advice. I just called a fixer to arrange the ferry: faster (I want to be home before christmas!!) and cheaper. Thnx! Jacob
