Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events such as this one (18 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or
to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and

Four of us (on 4 bikes) are planning a 9 day high mileage adventure from Cyprus (via Turkey, Syria, Jordan) to Egypt. Only few key stops on the way with idea to be in Cairo on December (inspired with one of the HU calendar pictures form 2010). It's approximately 3.500km but we are determine (that is unfortunately all the time we have).
I’m in touch with all the Embassies in order to insure visas and proper information about the carnet, insurance, etc. I’ll supply my official information at this thread, and confirm/deny the theory once we are back.
Should anyone be on the route, it would be great to meet-up.
