Barrel gas should be available at Catavina, intersection to Coco's (tire/llantera shop) and at Bay of LA intersection.

With your range you won't need to buy barrel anywhere - just at Pemex.
Key fueling locations will be: El Rosario, Loreto and Cd Constitution.
Key meaning that there's some distance before hitting another Pemex, although you should never be more than 75 or so miles from barrel gas. This isn't true though for some off road excursions.
Your best maps: www.baja-almanac.com
AAA map is OK, but they're way off regarding places to buy fuel and lacks detail.

Just came down the road. Gas out of barrel at B de LA intersection. Also some a truckers restaurant about 25 miles south of the intersection and again at Jesus Maria just north or Guerro Negro. Watch the pumps and count your change carefully.

I'm in Guerrero Negro now. I haven't had any probs with fuel, but some Americans in a truck mentioned fuel was in short supply in some parts. Fill up when you can - as we all know.

Info on your route.

Deeds,
Any chance you'd be able to divulge your route. My Bro and I are doing San Diego to Cabo in March. Things not to miss and things to skip would be a HUGE help since neither of us have been riding in Baja.

Did you ship your bike back or was it RT.

Thanks and have a great time.
Peter
