Nice seeing you Pat. Hope your trip come's off. I'm looking at booking two week's in Porimao Portugal in a complex. For a twin room starting on the 27 may for 14 night's £300. Not bad. Could get it cheaper but that's with a baloney and sea view. Leave the UK on the 22 of May ride down should be there on the Monday 27.

Hi Coolblackbird,

very interested in joining in your trip. I'm planning my own trip right now. Riding via Denmark, Sweden, Finnland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Poland from 22nd July for about 4 to 6 weeks on my Tiger 800 XC. As far as I know myself I want to enjoy every free minute on my bike. .
As a student I am in the happy situation of having a lot of time during summer. How many kilometres were you planning to ride per day? Are you open for some offroad, too?
I'll keep your trip in mind and might catch up with you again in a few months.

Take care,

Ben

Hi
In Spanish Pirinees, you have the Camping Anzanigo, in Anzanigo, where you will find a great motard atmosphere.
Ride the Pirinees slowly, crossing to France and Spain all the times you want and use third level roads.
In France, I love the Auvernia and Dordogna River area, full of beautiful villages.
Good luck, and tell us about the trip

Drop into The new HUMM!

Hi PAt,

If you are travelling in the North of Spain in early September then you should swing by Austin's new Humm (off-roading in the Pyreneese). There will be a campsite with a lot of bikers.

If I don'y get a job before then, I might even join you for a spell.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
