shipping parts..
whats the trick with having parts shipped? specifically so they are ahead of you while on the road? what do people do about destination addresses? is it best to pull a hotel name from lonely planet & email them etc?
if using a hotel address how / where does the part need to clear customs i.e. where do you pay the charges etc? thanks dave

Maybe get a list of dealers from your local dealer, if there are any, depends on what bike you a re running, and get in touch with htem as and when. Mine was Yamaha and had no probs in Africa.
Otherwise could try Poste Restante? I used it in Ethiopia, though one item ended up on some guys desk in head office, but I got it, eventually. Sorry if this doesn't help at all....trying...

A little story here about DH Hell: Chapter 17 The Big Trip
I have successfully used poste restante at post offices, friendly bike dealers/mechanics and TNT. How about contacting HU communities? Please: NEVER USE DHL Enjoy your trip. Chris
