ICQ is probably the first online"instant messenger" service,like MSN messenger/Yahoo messenger/etc...so you can link up live with anyone,anywhere(as long as they're logged in).Unfortunately nowdays it seems to be the domain of spammers and dubious folk trying to sell all sorts of wonderful body part extension potions!MSN messenger seems to have the lead at the moment as not only is Trend antivirus keeping a watchful eye on things for you,but the voice and videa chat is good too(yes you can talk and see the other person).
