buy a bike website

Hi,

Does anyone know of a website online that has a large selection of used bikes (USA) on the less expensive side OTHER than cycletrader.com? I am in South America and need to narrow down my choices before I return to the States. Thanks.

Mavec-

I have posted this on the "Which Bike" area also, but check out the moto section on "Craigslist" at http://www.craigslist.org/mcy/

The bikes posted are in Northern Calif, and although craigslist has locations in other regions, the motorcycle area is quite large here. You should at least get some ideas on this website. There are always lots of cheap bikes for sale. Keep in mind that since this site is totally free, you might have to deal with some flaky folks.

Good luck!

The most important thing we need to know is probably where in the United States you'll be coming to. Local newspapers are a great source of used bikes, often at better deals then at places like cycletrader. And, purchasing a bike from out of state and shipping it can be expensive and take a lot of time.

Cheers,
Wright
