UN mission in Western Sahara close to an end?

Got this out of today's newspaper. Nothing to panic, just background devellopments I guess:

James Baker, the UN envoy for the Western Sahara, has written a report in wich he gives 4 possible solutions. One of them is just giving it up.
Other options talk about semi-autonomy or dividing the region between the parties.

The mandat of the UN misson in the Western sahara ends normally this month (February). But Kofi Annen has asked the UN to prolong it for another 2 months. In this time the UN will decide wich of the 4 options they wil go for.

As I mentioned earlier, no reasons to panick I think. But interesting background info.
