La Paz Motorcycle Service?

on my world tour and took the road from puertocitos to cocos corner in baja norte and the heat of the day and the constant pounding of washboard, rock and horrific road blew my shock. dhl will only service la paz so i{m hobbling on a pogo stick of a suspension to la paz. anyone recommend a shop there that can assist me with putting new shock on? probably put the tire on that i{ve been schlepping since san diego as well..

But IMHO please DON'T use DHL. They are the biggest bunch of useless %^&*( on the planet bar none. Check

I suggest getting it sent by regular airmail to Post Restante at the main PO in downtown La Paz. Get the sender to put in a receipt with a real low value. Remember, you can get a car shock for less than 50 bucks, so they won't know a bike shock usually is much more expensive.

I will recommend to never use regular service in Mexico (Mexpost) it will take forever!
There is UPS, Fedex. DHL. Etc.
There are some post talking about the bad experiences with regular airmail in Mexico.

DHL gives a great service in Mexico IMO.

I already gave the good folks at Works Performance the DHL info, so I'm awaiting in Loreto for the three days I'm told. They're shipping to be held at the DHL office in La Paz. Meanwhile, there's nothing wrong AT ALL with Loreto....
