Border Thailand/Cambodia temporary closed
Hi,
the Thai-Cambodian land border (Aranya Prathet to Poipet) is closed at the moment. We have been there today and nothing is moving ! We were not able to get reliable information when it will be open again. Estimates by police/immigration were that it's closed for 5 to 10 days ! There have been some demonstrations and riots in Phnom Penh and a big crowd of cambodian students got a bit overexcited and demolished the Thai embassy and set it on fire. we got into Cambodia from Thailand yesterday. Border open to foreigners again ! Ralf and Caroline
