Where ever you buy the oil from .. in remote places they'll have to dispose of it some how.. Old sump oil used to be used on motox tracks to keep teh dust down.. could be of use on some roads...!

Wink Oil disposal................?

After living on dirt roads in Nicaragua and costa Rica for many years.......the best place to dispose of your oil is on a dirt road. This application has 2 functions: 1: It controls the dust (pulvo). 2. It helps solidify the road. 3. the locals will be grateful as well.

I use synthetic oil in my bike and change it often .
It has lots of life left in it but the bike oil filter is a bit primitive and does not filter too well .
When I drain the oil from the bike I then " re-use" it in the tractors and lawnmower etc .

Give your old oil to a [poor] farmer ,it's also good for lubricating slow moving chains on farm machinery .
