Fun in the mud - Scotland

Fun In The Mud

For anyone looking for a bit of great off road experience and instruction before their big trip. Located near Harthill between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

I just had a great few hours there today despite the rain!. Andy is a great teacher and had all of us (including a couple of beginners) tackling the MX tracks. You start off with some basic techniques, move on to the first track and then on to the faster track...by the end I was happily getting off the ground on all the humps- great fun.

For £60 for about 2 1/2 hours of good instruction and hire of all gear and bikes, its a pretty good deal.

Wish I'd known some of the stuff I was just taught before I went on my trips!

Rain and mud in Scotland in the summer, shurely some mishtake or have you been at the pretty coloured sweeties again. No, I know what it was, Scotland, world leaders in artificial mud slopes, all makes sense now. I'll be home again come next June, this time we must get together for some and stories. Ride safe.

Definitely something me and my son would enjoy. I can even enroll him to one of the short courses offered there.
