buying a bike in South Africa

Hi everyone!
I want to buy a used bike BMW GS 800 or 1000, or similar, in SA: anybody knows if that bike is available there? How much money should I expect to pay for it? Any recommended place to buy?
I´ll appreciate any help.
Cheers,
JP

If you are still looking, you will pay about $4000 to $6000 for a good bike 10 yrs old. The exchange rate is pretty good these days and you might do better than this. I know of a good dealer from whom we bought two R100GS bikes if you are interested. Where are you going to?
