Myself and 2 Americans are looking for an additional person to join us on an organised expedition to Ladakh where we will spend 2 weeks riding the roads in that region.
The specifics of the trip are:
Tentative dates, including travel, 1st – 17th July starting at Chandigarh and finishing at Leh in Ladakh 2400km later. The route includes the world’s highest road of Khardung-la rising to 18380 feet and an overnight stay at Pangong-Tso Lake at 14,500 feet will make for some great photo ops and an experience to remember. The tour is run by indiMotard and costs 215,000 INR which at current rates is £2200. The price includes food, accommodation, choice of bike, fuel, tour guide, back-up vehicle and all taxes and levies. Flights and such things as personal travel insurance and vaccinations etc are in addition to this. I found flights from the UK to Chandigarh and return from Leh for about £540. This is an additional trip to the regular ones organised by indiMotard and requires 4 people for it to run.
