Moved Thread: PROBABLY STOLEN XT600E 2002 or 2003

Hey guys!

I've found this selling on ebay UK...

I think it might be a stolen one as it says it's 5000 miles and he's selling it at 1300£

Or maybe he just wants it to sell quickly. It isn't registered and needs a battery and tyres so it won't ever be top dollar.

Doesn't sound as if it is stolen to me:-
£1300 is the start price for an auction process.
Much stranger stories have turned up on ebay and he has Greek papers for evidence of purchase. As he says in the advert, thereafter it is the buyers' problem to get it registered on closure of the sale.
You can go and view it. If this is at a bona fidae address then all should be OK.

Anyway, Brixham in Devon is a very law abiding part of the UK

This bike , Should the owner not register it in this country, thus paying import duties for it, and if not,the new owner is going to have to add those costs to the purchase price? And those "extra's" are a little overpriced in my view. eg; a bit of rubber cable tied to the forks!

Aside the above, have you seen the size of the marina in Corfu, 5000miles would be like watching a fly around a light bulb =bit of bull going on here me thinks!
but then again who knows, you could buy his shop sign for £300

Must put my SOCKS in the wash

My friends cousin knows a man who has a friend that is very top in the field of something to do with wheels, that has a biker friend who knows someone at a bike meet that has something (I forget what) for sale AND it's yours for only £10'0000, but they might be open to offers (if you know my uncle's sisters son) coz he says it's all good and sound! Know wat I mean.
You want to see it first! Listen mate wat u sayin?

Of to putt my Socks Back on

But, Hey! How far can this go?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
