KLR in Europe

Monday we where in Brussels at "the Salon", the big fair for cars, motors, ....
Although I'm a BMW fan, I was VERY dissapoited at the kawasaki-stand.
The even didn't had 1 KLR there on the fair. When I asked the salesman about it, he looked strange and I think he was ready to ask me " what is a KLR?" . At the end he changed is mind and didn't trew the question to me, but....
So to al our USA-Canada KLR-bike friends....be happy!!

BMW took al the people with the new 1200 watercooling, the gs 800 and 700 and also the KTM had a very beatifull stand.

Fuel Injection rules for ever

Here's the reason you got the blank faces:-

Similarly, all those other old, air cooled bikes that worked with carburettors are no longer sold anywhere in the EU.

I believe in another year or so all new bikes sold in Europe will have ABS fitted as standard and it won't be an option to leave it off the specification.
Next will come traction control

Sadly that is going to be the future.
Along with high visibility vests.
The bureaucrats rule the world.
