Help required in southern Italy (Salerno)

Hi Guys and Girls,

Can anyone out there help please? We have two friends, Clare & Sam, who are a few weeks into an epic two year trip travelling the world on their motorcycles. Sadly Clare has fallen ill and they have to fly home to the UK for some medical tests.

They are currently in Salerno, Italy, and need to store their bikes and luggage somewhere for a few weeks. If there is anyone out there in HU land that could help these two lovely people please get in touch with us.

My email address is mykolajenko@hotmail.com

I'm sure if anyone can help them it's our HU group of friends. See you at the HU meeting in Donnington. If you'd like to see what we've been up to on our tour, you'll find our blog here: The Wrong Way Round.

Cheers,

Simon.

Yes, I looked in communities but unfortunately all the listed areas are a long way from Salerno.

It's a bit of a long shot but there's an inmate on ADVRIDER, by the name of Xavier296, who lives in Naples. I don't know him at all however his signature says that he's open to helping couchsurfers and that he has a garage, which is certainly an indication of niceness in my books.

Otherwise if they can get their bikes to Trieste (800ks further north) they're more than welcome to store them in my garage.

Problem solved.

Great news guys, our moto travelling friends Sam and Clare have their bike storage problem in Italy sorted. The hotel they are staying in found out about their predicament and offered them free secure storage in the hotel garage for as long as they need.

A huge thank you to everyone from all around the world who helped out. It's good to know there are a lot of good people out there.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
