Tube welder

Does anyone know a good welder (in the Bucks/Oxf/Berks/London areas) who can do me a couple of inches of stainless tube and weld it into an existing exhaust pipe? I want to get a section cut out of an exhaust first and the new bit welded in.

This is off my WR250R to remove the exup valve and I don't think my MIG skills are up to scratch to attempt this.

You really need someone with a TiG welder. A mate has a good TiG set-up and is an excellent welder. I know he's vey busy but I'll ask him if & when he could do it. Will it just be a case of welding a couple of stainless tubes together i.e. you've done all the preparation or will he need to do so?

He's in Oxford & charges £25.00 per hour. I'll post up his response during the weekend.

I cannot recommend Mark at MHP enough. Really tidy work. Made me a 4-into-1 collector and link pipe and has also done some repair work on a couple of mate's bikes.
